Chainsaw Performance

Tokyo Somaudo-no-ren Cooperative

We were founded in August 2004 by six residents of Nishitama as a cooperative undertaking of forest management operations. We aim to conduct forest management operations that envision the future of forests together with stakeholders, including the effective utilization of timber resources, and to work backwards from that vision.

MORIRIN Corporation

We are a forestry and logging company based in Hinode Town, Nishitama District, Tokyo, that handles a wide range of services, from felling tall and thick trees using cranes to specialized logging in areas inaccessible to machinery. We also manage bamboo groves and sell firewood for wood-burning stoves, providing services that support local forest maintenance and daily life.

Kirinji K.K.

We are a forestry company based in Hachioji City that performs afforestation and forest cultivation work in the mountain forests of the Nishitama region (Hinohara Village, Ome City, Akiruno City, Hachioji City). We carry out fundamental forest maintenance tasks such as planting, underbrush clearing, and thinning, specializing in on-site work that helps connect Tokyo’s forest resources to future generations.

Husqvarna Zenoah Co., Ltd.

We are a manufacturer that comprehensively handles agricultural and landscaping equipment, such as chainsaws and brush cutters, as well as construction-related equipment, industrial machinery, and irrigation equipment for greening.

National Federation of Forest Owners’Co-operative Association

We are the national federation of forest owners’ co-operative associations. We are comprised of 597 associations nationwide with 1.46 million forest owners as members. The total forest area owned by our members amounts to approximately 10.4 million hectares. Through afforestation activities, we supply timber, preserve national land, nurture water resources, preserve the environment, provide venues for culture, education, and recreation, and offer policy recommendations.

Tokyo prefectural forest owners’ cooperative

We are the only forest cooperative in Tokyo, composed of forest owners and others in the Tama region. We engage in forest maintenance, timber production, and businesses promoting the use of Tama-produced timber known as “Tokyo Wood.” Beyond forest operations and timber sales, we widely communicate the value of Tokyo’s forests near the city through lectures, experiences, and other activities highlighting the functions forests provide. *Also exhibiting at the forestry work experience (log-cutting experience)

AKTIO Corporation

We are a comprehensive rental company that rents, leases, and sells construction machinery, heavy machinery, and various tools both in Japan and internationally. We provide equipment and technical proposals tailored to diverse scenarios beyond construction sites, including plant construction, events, and disaster response. We meet on-site needs by championing construction machinery rental with solutions.

MAEDA SEISAKUSHO CO., LTD.

We are a construction machinery manufacturer supporting urban and infrastructure development. Under the slogan “No. 1 Maker Creating the Future,” we provide integrated solutions ranging from product development, such as spider cranes and forwarders for forestry work, to the design and manufacturing of custom-ordered products, as well as sales and service. We will continue to respond flexibly to customer needs and take on the challenge of technological innovation.

TOKYU CONSTRUCTION CO., LTD.

We began forestry work in 2025 to contribute to sustainable forest cycles. We conduct smart forestry work that utilizes ICT and high-performance heavy machinery for boundary clarification, consolidation, forest management plan formulation, and thinning operations with timber removal. We conduct efficient and safe operations, aiming to contribute to sustainable forests.

We are a dealer of agricultural and forestry machinery located in Akiruno City, Tokyo, and the first STIHL Shop in Japan. We are a strong ally for forestry work in Tokyo, selling chainsaws and other equipment as well as providing after-sales service. We support our customers with extensive product and parts inventory and high technical expertise. We are a community-based dealer trusted by both professional and ordinary users.

STIHL Co., Ltd.

We are the Japanese subsidiary of STIHL, a German chainsaw brand. We offer a wide range of engine- and battery-powered tools for both professional and home users. Our product lineup includes forestry and landscaping machinery such as chainsaws, brush cutters, and blowers. We promote STIHL products in Japan and raise awareness about safe operation by disseminating product information, as well as after-sales service, campaigns, and brand information.

YAMABIKO Corporation / YAMABIKO JAPAN Co., Ltd.

We are a comprehensive manufacturer of outdoor work equipment based in Ome City, Tokyo. We are expanding globally across the three business areas of outdoor power equipment such as chainsaws and brush cutters, agricultural machinery, and industrial machinery. We provide products and services for a variety of outdoor work sites, from green space management to agriculture and forestry as well as urban development.

Hinohara Village Timber Industry Cooperative Association

We are a timber industry cooperative association in Hinohara Village, Nishitama District, Tokyo, that brings together over 40 companies from diverse sectors including forestry, lumbering, timber processing, wood product sales, and forest experience services. Set against the backdrop of Hinohara Village’s forests, boasting a coverage rate of approximately 93% and hardly recognizable as part of Tokyo, we share the bounty of the forest with the city, promoting diverse timber utilization such as wooden novelties and interior materials and creating a new relationship between the forest and the city.

Tokyo Chainsaws Co., Ltd.

We are a forestry company based in Hinohara Village, Tokyo. Based on our motto “Using every part of the tree,” we handle everything from forest management such as planting and thinning, to processing and commercialization of harvested timber, and creating experiences and spaces that utilize the forest. We position forestry work as “work that connects forests and daily life,” and actively develop products and services that utilize Tokyo’s forest resources.

Tokyo Forestry Research Group Liaison Council

We are a council composed of six forestry research groups in the Tama region. We operate with the aim of improving our members’ technical skills and promoting awareness and education regarding forests and forestry work. Working in coordination with the National Forestry Research Group Liaison Council (Zenrinken), we serve as the unifying body for the regional forestry research groups in Okutama, Hinohara, Ome, Hachioji, Hinode, and the women’s group.

We handle everything from planning to delivery for OEM furniture, signage, novelty items, and workshop operations. We primarily use timber from the Tama region and coordinate a wide range of services, including processing specified materials and utilizing felled trees and timber. We also operate a Support for Continuous Employment (Type B) Workshop and own our own factory.

Tokyo Shiitake Mushroom Producers Association

We are an organization of shiitake and mushroom producers from Tama and other regions. We conduct activities that promote the production of edible mushrooms by providing producers with cultivation materials, technical guidance, and training. Cultivating shiitake mushrooms using logs also helps to utilize forest resources and maintain Satoyama (mountain foothill) environments.

TOKYO WASABI

We cultivate wasabi in Okutama Town, Tokyo. The number of wasabi farmers has been declining in recent years, partly due to the impact of disasters like typhoons. We want to protect Okutama’s wasabi, which is at risk of disappearing entirely, and pass on Japan’s treasures—its proud traditions and culture—to the next generation. With this in mind, we operate under the slogan “Bringing Okutama wasabi to the world.” We are involved in various activities using wasabi, including running our “Wasabi Shokudo” food truck, offering wasabi experience tours, and conducting corporate training sessions.

We are a forestry company engaged in forest management, timber production, and specialized logging. We offer a wide range of services, from afforestation and nursery care—including planting, underbrush clearing, thinning, and pruning—to transport thinning, treatment of trees damaged by wind and snow, and urban tree removal.

We are a public interest incorporated foundation established to help improve the lives of Tokyo residents in terms of food and greening, as well as to promote agriculture, forestry, and fisheries that are in harmony with the environment. We achieve this by securing and nurturing the workforce for these industries, strengthening their management foundations, conducting forest maintenance, promoting testing and research and sharing its results, and expanding agricultural, forestry, and fishery resources within Tokyo.

Tokyo Forestry Seedling and Greening Tree Producers Association

We are an organization of producers with generations of inherited seedling cultivation techniques and knowledge, established to supply high-quality, low-pollen cedar and low-pollen cypress seedlings to Tokyo’s mountain forests. We produce and ship approximately 100,000 mountain-grown seedlings annually, including both bare-root and container-grown seedlings.

Yamanashi, which borders Tokyo, is the perfect countryside where nature meets the city. We will exhibit under the theme “Forestry work × Living × Learning × Future Generations,” showcasing the forests of Yamanashi that are familiar to Tokyo residents as water source forests and destinations for outdoor activities like mountain climbing.

Yoda-Forestry Corp.

We are Yoda-Forestry in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. We primarily engage in preserving water source forests for the Tokyo Bureau of Waterworks, working to maintain forests and protect water through forestry work. We also hold an annual MORIKATSU event, an activity designed to convey the importance of forests and the connection to forestry work in an enjoyable way.
